Moderex Gel-Tech dressing is different from other fiber dressings. It has a perfect balance between absorbency and wet strength. After absorbing the exudate, the dressing rapidly swells to form a transparent gel, preventing leakage and maceration whilst maintaining the optimal moist healing environment
As shown in the images, there are two presentations, 10x10cm pad or a 2cm x 45cm rope ideal for packing deep wounds. As the dressing absorbs exudate the dressing swells to create a seal for the wound to heal as demonstrated by using the blue dye.
High wet strength enables the dressing to be removed in one piece and is also flexible to fill cavity wounds with easy application and removal
Self developed needle spinning technology with enhanced vertical and horizontal strength & anti-shrinkage. After the dressing absorbs exudate, it rapidly gelates. The gel is highly transparent with low risk of fiber shedding and dressing residue whilst maintaining optimal moist wound healing enviroment
We have two sizes available, 10x10cm and also a "rope" version, 2x45cm for packing small wounds. The dressing can also be pre-moistened for effective use on dry or lightly draining wounds
